Making the Instagram

I made an Instagram account under the handle of @lilithmnemosyne . The purpose was to reach audiences, generate awareness and hype around Medieval and redirect traffic via links.

The Instagram header features the artist’s pronouns (she/her), her record label (Veritas Record), the status of the music video (here it was posted) alongside links to the website to shop merch and to YouTube which was our distribution platform for the music video.

For the Instagram account's feed I wanted to keep everything cohesive and organized starting from color palettes, posts, titles which range across all posts.
These themes were inspired by the album cover I initially created which had primarily green tones with a pop of red in the text of "mori".

The feed similarly consists of mostly green tones with pops of warm reddish orange tones to create a sense of branding overall.
I used Canva to create the posts which included lettering and the record label's logo. I re-used the font optimized in the actual album cover to maintain consistency.

I also utilized the Instagram story feature to update and engage with viewers and later complied the stories into a highlight in case audiences need to refer back to them.

Instagram Reels are a recent tool which optimizes short-form content to gain eyeballs. I made two reels for two of our merchandise products: the vinyl and the cassette. The reel did well and got engagement from our audience in the form of likes and comments.

Alongside the three teasers to create ample hype via the platform and posting merchandise, I also posted tour dates, the tracklist and BTS polaroids to further connect audiences to the pop persona; Lilith.
