Now that we are done with filming our opening, it was time for the final step to tie everything in – editing. I used Adobe Premiere Pro as my primary editing software, alongside Capcut later for some tweaks.

I imported my clips into Premiere Pro, shortlisted them, and placed the final contenders on my timeline, where the real work started. I didn't go through an elaborate process to pre-filter the footage and just imported it into premiere pro and thought I would go through the footage by referencing from the shot list as I went along and rejected any shots that I felt did not fit in. To pick the shots I wanted on my timeline I first viewed the different versions of the shot in the source panel. When satisfied with the shot I saw, I would drag it onto the timeline.
